Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Health


Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Health Worker programs are aimed at developing the knowledge and skills of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Health Workers to address the burden of chronic disease and achieve better health outcomes for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.  The program also provides opportunities for professional development, support and career advancement.

 

The national Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Health Worker training package is under development. For further information, contact Norma Lukies, Program Coordinator.
